ATLANTA, GA – July 22, 2025 The summer 2025 edition of Atlanta Market brought renewed momentum and a sense of solidarity to the gift, home and outdoor industries, welcoming buyers and sellers from across the globe to AmericasMart Atlanta, July 15-21, 2025. The co-location with Casual Market Atlanta further expanded cross-category sourcing opportunities, reinforcing Atlanta Market’s value as a reliable destination for connection, discovery and resilience in a time of industry-wide uncertainty.

“Atlanta Market continues to deliver on its promise of supporting and elevating both emerging and established brands, offering a powerful combination of community and commerce,” said Jon Pertchik, ANDMORE® CEO. “In a climate shaped by shifting economic conditions, our focus remains clear: investing in the buyer experience and creating meaningful opportunities for growth among buyers and sellers.”

Strategic Sourcing, Economic Insights and New Relationships Define a Standout Season for Retailers

The summer 2025 Atlanta Market drew a diverse audience of domestic and international buyers, including solid attendance from the southeast, midwest and western United States, as well as a sustained Canadian and Latin American presence. In addition to mass merchants, independent retailers and interior designers, 10 buying groups convened in Atlanta for one of the season’s most influential wholesale events.

For first-time buyers, Atlanta Market offered an unparalleled opportunity to dive into new product discovery and connect with a wide range of vendors. One buyer reflected on his visit to Casual Market: “As a first-time buyer, coming to Atlanta has opened so many doors for our business,” said Chad Helm, owner of Dock Solutions of Kentucky and Outdoor Living. “We discovered new vendors, especially in outdoor living, and being able to see everything in one place made it an incredibly valuable and seamless experience.”

Buying groups again played a pivotal role at Market, bringing focused energy to the showrooms and temporary exhibits with curated tours, member events and networking sessions.

“The summer Atlanta market always meets and exceeds expectations for GC Buying Group retailers and vendors – and July 2025 was no exception,” said Janis Johnson, president and founder of GC Buying Group. “Vendors were pleased to exhibit, and buyers loved attending the GC event and shopping the excitement of Atlanta market.”

Showrooms and Temporaries Report Strong Order Writing and New Buyer Relationships

Three buildings presented more than 1,000 permanent showrooms across categories featuring new product lines, expanded assortments and immersive displays. Home furnishings showrooms reported steady traffic and strong engagement from retailers and designers seeking exclusive product introductions.

Against the backdrop of Casual Market Atlanta, Uttermost took the opportunity to launch its new outdoor collection at Atlanta Market, connecting directly with both traditional showroom buyers and a growing cohort of casual living retailers. Mac Cooper, owner of Uttermost, shared, “After a successful outdoor debut earlier this year, Atlanta Casual Market was the clear next step. Atlanta Market has been integral to our business for many decades, and we’re excited to grow our presence with a new showroom and 7th floor space!”

  1. Douglas, a major home furnishings anchor at AmericasMart Atlanta, also chimed in, “Atlanta is truly home for J. Douglas, because it’s where all of our brands come together under one roof,” said Collin Mallon, director of operations. “This market has brought great energy, strong appointments and engagement with our showroom. We take pride in the details, and buyers keep coming back for that full-service experience.”

In the gift category, major agencies and brand partners energized the Market with new seasonal collections, underscoring the importance of a physical marketplace. Garry Schermann, Creative Co-Op senior vice president of sales, offered, “Markets like Atlanta are invaluable. It’s where you get the most comprehensive assortment of vendors, and this year, buyers are showing up, writing more orders than the previous year, and they’re really engaging. We couldn’t be happier.”

Atlanta Market’s nearly 1,000 temporary exhibitors delivered a high-impact resource for new product discovery. Spread across seven categories on the lower eight floors of Buildings 2 and 3, the temporary exhibits offered buyers curated access to international makers, handmade goods, gourmet foods, lifestyle products and more.

“Atlanta Market has been such a great experience. It’s our first time exhibiting in the south, so we’ve been able to connect with a whole new base of customers who hadn’t seen our products before," said Emilie Wong, marketplace & trade marketing manager at Original Duckhead. “This show has truly opened the door to new accounts and exciting growth beyond our core audience.”

In response to ongoing economic concerns, ANDMORE supports buyers as a strategic partner with tools and programming designed to inform and empower. A key highlight at AmericasMart Atlanta was Tariffs & Trade: What It Means for Gift & Home, led by industry journalist Warren Shoulberg, which explored how leading retailers are adapting to cost pressures. Early in the summer Market season, ANDMORE, alongside Furniture Today, also introduced a Tariff Tracker resource to identify tariff-focused action across the industry and launched its "Shop the Show" initiative, providing special offers for first-time buyers to encourage strategic sourcing.
