IMC Market Websites Launch New Digital Content

ATLANTA/HIGH POINT, N.C./LAS VEGAS – April 27, 2020 – In a time of business disruptions due to the COVID-19 crisis, International Market Centers (IMC) is launching new online resource centers through its Atlanta, Las Vegas, and High Point Market websites. Through these new portals, buyers and exhibitors can continue to engage with each other, stay up-to-date on key trends and industry news, and access webinars and other rich content until physical markets are staged again.

“The sense of community is a key element of our markets and marketplaces,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC chief marketing and digital officer. “While currently we cannot gather in person, IMC is helping to fill that void by presenting relevant content and a creating a community that will keep our exhibitors and attendees connected during this difficult time.”

With unique information tailored to each market experience, the market portals are comprehensive resources for retailers, designers and exhibitors to stay informed. Webinars produced by IMC and other industry thought leaders provide business-building educational opportunities; trend information and product previews showcase fresh and new merchandise; industry news digests showcase need-to-read stories; and market information, videos and previews help attendees make plans for upcoming markets.

The IMC market portals can be accessed through the following links:

The new resource pages complement product and vendor discovery currently available through IMC’s market websites – AmericasMart.com, LasVegasMarket.com and IMCHighPointMarket.com. As recently announced, IMC and its new digital innovation division, IMC_di, also are offering free subscriptions and transactions to IMC customers through year-end on ShopZio, its B2B digital platform with 35,000 verified buyers currently transacting on the platform representing millions of dollars in transactions every month. The e-commerce marketplace will be linkable directly from IMC’s market websites which already attract more than three million unique users a year enabling both robust product discovery and transactional e-commerce.

“Our hope is that by continuing to provide enrichment and connection opportunities, we can help our buyers and suppliers prepare to successfully emerge from this crisis,” adds Belshaw. “While we are proud to offer these resources online for our customers, we cannot wait to gather again in person at our upcoming markets.”

The current schedule is:

  • June Atlanta Apparel: June 10-13, at AmericasMart
  • Atlanta Market: July 14-20, at AmericasMart
  • Las Vegas Market: July 26-30, at World Market Center Las Vegas and the EXPO at World Market Center Las Vegas
