Las Vegas Market Launches Home Furnishings Experience Enhancements

Welcomes Theodore Alexander and Serta Simmons Bedding in Winter 2023

LAS VEGAS, N.V. – (November 9, 2022) – Las Vegas Market’s plan to further strengthen its furniture and home décor resources and improve the buying experience makes major strides in Winter 2023 with the first phase of a strategic reorganization of Building A and the addition of more top international bedding and mattress brands. The 125,000 sqft of updates include some 41 new, relocated and expanded showrooms by leaders like Serta Simmons Bedding, Theodore Alexander and more for the January 29 – February 2, 2023, buying event.

The plan to refresh the Las Vegas Market furniture and home décor buying experience kicks off with major updates to the brand presentations. A strategic reorganization in Building A paves the way for more design-driven furnishings brands to create new west coast flagship showrooms for suppliers including Theodore Alexander. Las Vegas Market continues to strengthen its mattress and bedding offerings with another major international resource– Serta Simmons Bedding – joining the collection in two permanent showrooms.

Building A Transformation
Leading the campus-wide home furnishings updates is the reorganization of Building A to improve the shopability of its 400+ furniture and décor lines and service providers. Some 14 brand are new, relocating or expanding for the first Las Vegas Market of the year.

New in Winter 2023 is a 5,000+ square foot destination showroom for luxury handcrafted furniture brand Theodore Alexander on A1 in the Las Vegas Design Center. The showroom will offer a comprehensive collection of casual, traditional and modern furniture, lighting and accessories to designers and retailers.

“The new flagship showroom in Las Vegas will help strengthen our presence and distribution on the west coast,” said Ed Teplitz, president of Theodore Alexander. “And as part of Las Vegas Design Center, we’ll have the ability to engage the burgeoning regional design trade on a daily basis and serve as a year-round resource for the Southwest.”

Movement in Building A allows for updates from brands looking to tap Las Vegas Market as their gateway to the west. Anthony California, Inc (lamps handcrafted in the USA) expands. Some 12 brands relocate within Building A: Cal Lighting and Accessories (lamps, chandeliers, track lighting, pendants and LED mirrors), CordaRoy’s (convertible bean bags), Flair Enterprises Inc. (furniture made in Canada), Furniture Care Protection Inc (furniture protection plans), Homestar (wooden and metal whole home furniture), Jordan Manufacturing (indoor and outdoor cushions, outdoor furniture, outdoor curtains, patio umbrellas and indoor casual seating), Kinfine USA Inc (case goods and upholstered accent furniture), Leather Italia USA (leather furniture), Noble House Home Furnishings (indoor and outdoor furniture), Parker House Furniture (living room, home entertainment, bedroom and home office furniture), SEI/Southern Enterprises (media, occasional, home office furniture plus fireplaces, jewelry storage, wall décor and more) and Twin Star Home(indoor and outdoor furnishings).

Full-Spectrum Updates in Buildings B & C
The excitement of new and expanded resources carries throughout the World Market Center Las Vegas Campus as 11 more updates refresh 550+ resources on 23 floors in Buildings B and C.

Additional showroom resource updates bring more accessories, antiques, furniture, textiles, wall art and service providers to Las Vegas Market. Two Building B newcomers are Dovetail Art (fine framed art and art on canvas) and Geniemode (tech-based supply chain platform). Building C features five new showrooms: E. Lawrence Ltd. (decorative books), Pendleton Woolen Mills (wool textiles), Sono Inspired (barrel-themed accessories), White x White (furniture and accessories made from reclaimed wood) and Wexel Art (art prints and acrylic frames). Four Building C expansions are Blue Ocean Traders (vintage and one-of-a-kind furniture and accessories and handcrafted reproductions), CHANDRA (rugs), Pacific Silk Plants (faux botanicals) and Union Home (sustainably crafted modern furniture).

Growth in new mattress and sleep resources confirms Las Vegas Market as the most influential bedding market in the United States. The return of Serta Simmons Bedding – with two new showrooms including a dedicated space for its Beautyrest and Tuft & Needle brands – leads 15 updates for the Winter 2023 market. Four more new showrooms are American National Mfg.
