Atlanta Apparel Set To Showcase All Apparel Categories At August Market

Highlights Include Spring, Resort, Children’s, and Formal, August 1 – 5 at AmericasMart Atlanta

 ATLANTA – June 28, 2023 – This August, Atlanta Apparel will be the industry’s first wholesale opportunity to source Spring/Summer ‘24 alongside popular categories – immediates, Children’s apparel and accessories, Resort and Holiday – across 860+ exhibits, with an enhanced, amenity-filled, event-rich and education-driven buying experience. As an added benefit, the August edition, August 1 – 5, 2023, at AmericasMart Atlanta, runs concurrently with ANDMORE’s Formal Markets event (formerly VOW Bridal & Formal and World of Prom), offering cross-category sourcing in bridal and social occasion categories.

New and Expanded Showroom and Exhibit Resources Showcase Next Season

Some 410+ permanent showrooms and 450+ temporary exhibits will showcase top categories, such as young contemporary, contemporary, Resort, accessories, Children’s, and formalwear throughout the entirety of Building 3. Market highlights include new and expanded showrooms and temporary exhibits.

New, expanded and notable showrooms include new contemporary apparel brands at Felicite Apparel, and an expanded space for Reeves & Co. to showcase their Queen of Sparkles line.

Two categories – Holiday and Resort – will have a strong presence in the temporary exhibits this August. Notable Holiday resources include: ADORA; Duo Threads; Easel; HYFVE; Skies Are Blue/Under Skies; TCEC; The Vintage Shop; Treasure Jewels; UmGee USA; WHY dress and Yochi, Inc. Notable Resort sellers include: Blowfish Malibu; Caroline Hill; Charleston Shoe Co.; FAME Accessories; FREYRS Eyewear; German Fuentes; Gretchen Scott Designs; Matisse Footwear; Southern Shirt; Tommy Bahama; Town Pride; Treasure Jewels and TRVL Design by ID Accessories.

Other notable temporary exhibits for August include: Aetrex; Angela Mara; Handbag Handcuff; Lain Snow; MABELL; Marine Layer; Modern and Chic; OneTheLand; Sweet Lemon and Tilley.

Semi-Annual Children’s Pavilion Showcases Spring in Atlanta

The second semi-annual showcasing of the Children’s Pavilion happens this August, presenting  newest children’s Spring/Summer ’24 collections, with new showrooms and sold-out temporary exhibits adding to the 55 showroom resources. New this August, Prodoh Showroom is bringing its corporate presence to Atlanta alongside notable lines: Scout Baby in the Summer Place Reps Showroom and Pleat Collection in Lulu Bebe. International companies are taking the stage in the temporary space with new lines Asserin Asseran, Emanual Pris, Kiah,  Meet-Marie and Rise Little Earthling. Children’s temporary exhibits open and close one day later than general Atlanta Apparel exhibits, running Wednesday, August 2, through Friday, August 4.

The August edition of Atlanta Apparel will feature 400+ temporary exhibitors on five floors of AmericasMart Building 3. The first floor will showcase cash & carry resources alongside young contemporary temporary exhibits.

As an added benefit, apparel buyers can source across categories at the concurrent Formal Markets, offering an additional 180+ individual bridal and social collections in permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits on floors 10, 12 and 14.

Showrooms and temporary exhibits open concurrently this market, on Tuesday, August 1. Temporary exhibits close Thursday, August 3. Children’s temporary exhibits run Wednesday, August 2 through Friday, August 4. Showrooms run through Saturday, August 5. Fashion Events, Education and Amenities Augment the August Market Experience

This August, Atlanta Apparel continues to provide more market events, more trend education and more amenities over the 5 days of market.

Market events kick off Tuesday, August 1, with the hallmark Atlanta Apparel Kickoff Party featuring a live model presentation in the Building 3 Atrium at 6:00pm. Fashion editor, Freya Drohan of The Daily Front Row,presents market education this August with a seminar on Holiday Trends, Tuesday, August 1, at 10:30 a.m. in the Atrium. Wednesday at 12:00, attendees can take part in the Mid-Market Soiree with a presentation from Drohan on ways to style a scarf, partnered with temporary exhibitor German Fuentes for scarf giveaways.

Curated Category Lounges this August will focus on top categories for August buying, each with a daily giveaway event during the market. A Barbie®-inspired “pink party” lounge on Floor 3 will present a hairbrush personalization activity at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, a Resort lounge on Floor 4 with a custom fan event at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday and a Holiday lounge on Floor 5 featuring a “Gin & Jingle” holiday sweater event in partnership with exhibitor Staccato, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Additional events round out the market experience on Tuesday with a Customize Your Hat event in partnership with FAME at 1:00 on Floor 3 and a Get Your Own Birthstone Bracelet with exhibitor Katie Loxton at 2:00 on Floor 9.

Additionally, buyers can seek inspiration from the Atlanta Apparel ANDMORE and the Formal Markets ANDMORE trend installations, showcasing the breadth and depth of product offerings at ANDMORE’s apparel and formal markets, in the Building 3 Floor 2 registration lobby throughout the market.

Atlanta Apparel will host two daily new buyer orientation sessions – one in English led by Sarabeth Jackson, ANDMORE Director of Buyer Services for apparel, and a second in Spanish led by Alejandra Trombetta, ANDMORE Apparel Senior Events Manager, Monday through Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m, respectively.  Additionally, attendees have access to daily breakfast, happy hours and more throughout the market.
